SyntoniaRituals

SyntoniaRituals is a musical instrument that stores your creations on your device. No app account is required. This policy explains local storage, Apple’s purchase services, and what happens if you contact support or open an external official link.
Data collection
SyntoniaRituals does not collect personal information through the app. It does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, in-app analytics, third-party crash-reporting services or an app-operated cloud service.
The developer does not collect any data through SyntoniaRituals.
The app does not send your Library, playing activity or preferences to a developer-operated server. Apple’s services and any support correspondence are described separately below.
The app does not include:
- user accounts or sign-in;
- advertising or cross-app tracking;
- in-app analytics or telemetry;
- third-party crash-reporting services;
- in-app cloud sync;
- location, contacts, camera, or photo-library access;
- microphone recording or analysis of sound around you.
The fullscreen visualizers respond only to audio generated inside SyntoniaRituals. They do not listen through the device microphone.
App Store purchases
The optional permanent Pro unlock is a one-time in-app purchase with no subscription. Apple processes payment and purchase restoration. The app checks your purchase with Apple to enable Pro; the developer does not receive your payment-card or billing details. See Apple’s App Store privacy information .
Apple may also provide developers with purchase reports and aggregated usage information from users who opt in to sharing analytics, under its own policies. This is separate from any data collection inside SyntoniaRituals.
Data stored on your device
SyntoniaRituals stores the content needed for your personal setup locally, including:
- Singing Bowl presets and their instrument settings;
- Frequency presets;
- saved Ritual sequences, step choices, names, colours, and notes;
- Live Rig state;
- reverb and delay settings;
- Apple Pencil mappings and performance preferences;
- visual and app preferences;
- onboarding completion state.
The app saves this information locally and does not upload it to the developer. Your device’s backup services may include app data according to your backup settings.
Removing your data
You can edit or delete user-created bowls, frequencies, and Rituals from within the app where those actions are available.
Deleting SyntoniaRituals from your device removes the app and its locally stored data, subject to the normal behaviour of iOS or iPadOS device backups. Because SyntoniaRituals does not maintain an account or remote database, the developer cannot view, export, restore, or delete your local content on your behalf.
Audio
SyntoniaRituals generates sound on your device. Its visualizers follow that sound without using the microphone or sending audio to the developer. Ritual playback pauses when the app becomes inactive or moves into the background.
Children’s privacy
SyntoniaRituals does not collect personal information from children or from any other user. The app does not provide accounts, advertising, social features, or a channel for submitting personal information.
Support correspondence
If you contact support by email, the information you choose to include in that message is handled by the email services used to send and receive it. Support correspondence is used only to understand and answer your request. Do not send sensitive personal information.

This website and external services
This policy describes the SyntoniaRituals app. Visiting this website or opening an external link is a separate interaction with the service involved.
This website is hosted through GitHub Pages, whose handling of visitor information is described in the GitHub Privacy Statement .
Links to Apple and other services are subject to those services’ privacy policies.
If you visit the community, the Discord Privacy Policy applies.
Opening those services is not required to use SyntoniaRituals.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if a future version changes how data is handled—for example, by adding optional cloud services, remote diagnostics, analytics, or another network feature. The revised policy will identify its effective date and the app features it covers.
