La Magia e la Storia dei Luoghi Siamo Noi was a live encounter between photography, theatre, music and dance: not simply a projection of images, but a collective performance in which every photograph became a story, every text became voice, every sound opened an emotional space, and every gesture transformed vision into stage presence.

The event took place on Saturday 25 January 2025 inside the performance space of SPAZIO MATTA in Pescara, curated and organised by Fotografia Pino Giannini. The project brought together a group of photographers and authors around a series of short visual narratives: individual photographic thoughts, yet conceived as part of a shared team effort.

It all began during a casual evening at Bar dello Sport in Serramonacesca, with friends, locals, and the unmistakable red glow of Campari Soda bottles on the tables. The bar had that warm, informal energy that small Abruzzo villages can suddenly produce at night: half conversation, half improvisation, and always the feeling that something could be decided over the next round.

At some point, the idea came up for a Campari-sponsored jam session night. A poster was needed, preferably something more memorable than the usual bar flyer. I was there as a musician, but also as a graphic designer, and I offered to take care of the artwork. By the time I walked back home late that night, the idea had already started to mutate into something stranger and more personal.

SCALOROCK 3 took place on 21 June 2002 in Piazzale Guglielmo Marconi, the square in front of the railway station of Chieti Scalo, Abruzzo. It was a summer night of local rock, blues and metal, staged in a place that was never just a transit point for us: it was a meeting ground, a familiar border between the hillside city of Chieti and the flatter, louder, more improvised life around the station.
